Paper Presentation Guidelines

Authors are required to provide consent for each paper submitted for DRS publication. The consent form is available at: https://forms.gle/BZ2a73KGKVGDzj119

We are pleased to provide you with detailed instructions to ensure a smooth and effective presentation experience. Please review the following guidelines carefully and make note of all relevant points. These instructions do not apply to workshop or poster presenters.

Full Podium Presentation Instructions

  • Each paper is scheduled for presentation in a specific session. Please refer to the program schedule to confirm your time slot.
  • You will have a total of 10 minutes for your presentation, followed by 4 minutes for questions and answers, and 1 minute for speaker changeover.
  • A volunteer will monitor the time and display placards indicating 5, 2, and 0 minutes left to both the speaker and chair.
  • Presenters are asked to strictly adhere to their allotted time.
  • Presentations should be prepared in either PowerPoint or PDF format.
  • All speakers are required to arrive at the venue for their session at least 15 minutes before the session begins.
  • A Windows-based system and LCD projector will be available for use during paper presentations.
  • Please ensure your presentation slides are loaded or checked on the provided computer before your session starts.
  • It is essential to strictly adhere to the allotted time for your presentation.
  • Organizers will be present to assist with the presentation setup and any technical needs.
  • Use the provided PPT template to ensure visual consistency.
  • We recommend limiting your presentation to 10 slides, assuming approximately one minute per slide.
  • If a presenter is unable to present during the scheduled slot, the paper will not be included in the conference proceedings.
  • The session coordinator will contact you with detailed instructions regarding the uploading of your presentation files.

Instructions for International Virtual Presenters

  • Please submit your presentation by October 4th.
  • Additionally, provide a 10-minute video (MP4 format) of your presentation as a backup by October 4th.
  • The link for virtual presenters will be sent separately closer to the conference.

Short Podium Presentation & Discussion Instructions

  • Each paper is scheduled for presentation in a specific session as indicated in the program schedule.
  • Presenters are allotted 5 minutes for their presentation and 1 minute for changeover. There will be no Q&A immediately following each presentation.
  • A volunteer will monitor the time and display placards indicating 2, and 0 minutes left to both the speaker and chair.
  • Presenters are asked to strictly adhere to their allotted time.
  • After six papers in the session have been presented, there will be a general Q&A session lasting 10 minutes, during which all presenters will be invited to the dais for discussion.
  • Presentations should be in PowerPoint or PDF format.
  • Speakers should arrive at the venue at least 15 minutes before the session begins.
  • A Windows-based system and LCD projector will be provided for paper presentations.
  • Speakers must load or check their presentation slides on the provided computer in advance.
  • Strict adherence to the designated presentation time is required.
  • Organizers will be available to assist with technical and logistical needs.
  • Use the provided PPT template to ensure visual consistency.
  • It is recommended to limit the presentation to 5 slides, assuming one minute per slide.
  • If a presenter misses the allotted slot, the paper will not be included in the conference proceedings.
  • The session coordinator will provide further instructions for uploading presentation materials.

  • Additionally, provide a 5-minute video (MP4 format) of your presentation as a backup by October 4th.
